Early Sunday

Yesterday was a fine day, though I was awakened by a bad nightmare early in the morning. Waking up that early gave me the advantage to move to Penang Island earlier.



From the bridge, the whole island was not even visible due to the bad haze. But the ease of the traffic allowed me to drive even slower than usual and as I cruised down the bridge, I found this loving couple with their “vehicle”. I must get one of this someday, one fine day.

First destination, Grove St. My guys were having their First Aid Competition, and I wanted to be there to support them. Support apa? I became their cameraman pulak. But OK lah, since I can play around with someone else’s Canon EOS DSLR.


At noon, I moved to my cousin’s house since my aunt is at KL. We had lunch at Burma St.’s Ko Cha Bi (sounds like “Kau Chubby!”). Well, it did mention Taiwanese food, but it left me wondering why was kimchi served? My recommendation, Paper Steamboat Set. I found myself more and more into small restaurants serving niche cuisines, especially located at old buildings with affordable prices. Sweet!

Bla bla bla… It was already 3 p.m., so I headed to this one old shop at Padang Tembak (or the Hokkiens called it Pak Cheng Por). Mission? To get a bottle of Snake brand talcum powder for my Supervisor. Accomplished!


So yes, it was such a fulfilling Sunday. Next week? Perhaps renting a whole Ferry to myself. Just wondering…

Go Figure Bit*h! What??

I was just "constructing" the blog page and was going through all the old posts and comments too. And I found this comment left by an anonymous on the post K.I.S.S.

The fun of those days where we just took things as jokes and fun were just history. I've bet we can't do that to our colleagues nowadays, else, its gonna be an "international issue".

Working late today, similar like any other month ends. But tomorrow, a break in the island! Heritage stuffs, here I come!

Never Better - A Refreshing Journey

I gently wrote in my FB status:

"The charm of old houses, the direct wind from the river to cottage-like hostel, food that entice the hungry taste buds and desserts that soothe the warm hearts."

Nothing else would replace that expression that best represents my feelings over the last weekend.

Worth to note, that was my first outing after 2 years of hard work! What more amazing is that how much every single one of us had changed, evolved but still remained the same 'us' deep inside.

Pak Hassan still the same humble guy desperately looking for chabo.
Mak Teh still gossipy

And me...

Bloggin again?

Bloggin again? This time, going mobile! Had my new handheld and suddenly the freedom to reach the world came right back to me. I would say, its my greatest gift and I am happy to spend for this handheld.

But would this habbit sustain for long? Nobody knows, not even myself.

Why was I even affiliated to that name at the first point? Bring me back to the day when I was first called that name. Was it becoz of my bedsheet? Or was it just...ME?

Hi guys! It has been a while since my previous post but I am STILL here. Just that I find facebook its kinda easy to update and operate, despite the lack of privacy there (Ahem ahem).

Alright, updates. Nothing much to be proud off. Just busying around with my FYP and Design Projects. Next to come are all the presentations. Aiyoyo...

Owh ya... Baby Victor is finally here, and officially, my shares market back at home has dropped by 70% as all the family members are currently investing on him instead. Sad and happy, 'rojak' feelings.

Till then, I guess I won't be updating my blog as frequent as my facebook. So add me in facebook yeah! DO IT RIGHT NOW! Uploaded some alluring pictures over there. Nyeh nyeh nyeh.... Cheers people!
