I can just sit down and just chat for the whole day, can't I? But even to sit down and interview a person (chat), it takes a lot of effort and thinking before you open your mouth and actually ask someone a question.
Oprah usually asks herself, "What the intention of this interview". It is quite similar to Edward De Bono's approach to thinking, keep on asking yourself what is the ultimate objective of doing something, so that you don't get derailed in the process of completing the tasks.
So what is the purpose of this blog entry? Boredom!
I will start a new label, hopefully by this week - Artsy Me From Nothing. LOL.. Can't wait!

The 26th Birthday
Well, lets start with Wesak Day first. I was watching the procession as it went by and I suddenly remembered there was this one particular practice that people (Buddhist) usually do on their birthday - liberation.
Liberation is an act of freeing (emancipating) someone or something from their current sufferings. And to make things more interesting, a day after Wesak Day, I found this tree behind the place I parked my car.
Well, its the Buddha tree. And this has to be the first time I saw fruits on its tree. Magnificent!
So then came by last week, 31st May 2013. Its stock closing day, for your info. Thus, I was expecting that I'll be working till at least 12 midnight or 1 morning. But it turned out, everything was done by 11 pm! Surprise surprise!! So before I went to bed that night, I was just browsing through YouTube just to watch whatever I can find. So I searched for "Oprah" and I found this interview she had with a Vietnamese monk, Thich Nhat Hanh on her new series the Super Soul Sunday. And I was just so enlightening to just even list to their conversations.
When midnight strikes, I switch off my phone, and then it was 1st June 2013.
I woke up early, and I choose to wear red, simply because my favourite color is red. I went to work, and well wishes just flown in from Facebook, Viber, Whatsapp. SMS and We Chat. I left work about 3 in the evening, and I went to a pet store to get some fishes. For what purpose? Liberation...
And so those fishes got liberated at this river...
And I went home, feeling better than usual when suddenly my dearest friend called me out.
Thanks for the cake Mak Teh! So all in all, my 26th Birthday was... AWESOME!

Better Dig Two
Jokes aside, but I really hope someone will sing this song for my wedding. Else, I will do it myself!
I told you on the day we wed
I was gonna love you 'til I's dead
Made you wait 'til our wedding night
That's the first and the last time I wear white
....
Put me in the ground
Put me six foot down
And let the stone say:
Here lies the girl whose only crutch
Was loving one man just a little too much
If you go before I do
I'm gonna tell the gravedigger that he better dig two
These words are so meaningful and I have to say, DAMN, The Band Perry is good!!!

Reminiscence of A Wet Morning
It was raining, slightly this morning, and it reminded me of those days where I felt so reluctant to wake up for Fluid Mechanics.
So I went searching, for songs that would heal such feeling. I was caught by surprise, and if I may add, songs written and created 5 years ago are way much hotter than those current songs played in radio.
Found these lovely songs:
1. 4 Minute by Madonna & JT.
2. Beep by PCD.
3. Like Me by Girlicious.
4. Give It Up To Me by Shakira & Lil Wayne.
Naiseeeee....

Vote
American Idol Season 12 will be ending this week Friday. With only 2 fiercest contestants left in the competition, Candice and Kree, lets hope that the voting process goes on "cleanly".
I mean, I've never doubted that American Idol's voting system is not "clean". If it is not, this guy would not have won!
I hope that Candice sings All By Myself - Celine's version (someone will need to sing that song somehow somewhen!).
Can't wait!

Duty for My Nation
Yes, I've done my duty for my nation. I voted for the first time of my life, and I've got to go back to my old good school, High School Bukit Mertajam.
But the darn indelible ink that the people were "hu-ha-ing" about, was not "indelible" after all. And that was about an hour after I've voted.
And plus, I accidentally inked the ballot paper for the State seat. I supposed, I am one of the people who contributed to those spoil ballots. Nasib la...
And what is more funny, are those political ornaments that they created.
Wonder what is up on this coming 8th? Que sera sera...

And this particular one was utterly funny. A cow carrying a Prada handbag with Jimmy Choo shoes! Haha...

The Old Oak Tree
I really wanted to name it "The Ole Oak Tree" instead. But on the night when I wanted to design the finishing touches, I just randomly checked in the Oxford dictionary and the word 'ole' was not found. So here goes, The Old Oak Tree.
This genus seed,
Will lead to a new saplings,
A new beginning,
Ready for the world,
Heading straight for the
light,
The sky is the only limit it
has,
Distracted it shall never
be,
Despite the silent darkness
One may have to face,
Spreading its branches,
That reached a distant,
A distance fearsome to
others,
Extending its deep, deep
roots,
Growing values within its
trunk,
Blooming flowers of joy,
Lush green leaves in
excitement,
That's how you grow a tree.
This old oak tree,
Standing there majestically alone,
Strong, Upright, firm,
But yet,
Adored by many.
And remember this water color painting I did last 2 months ago?
Randomly, I put them together and it became such a beautiful piece of souvenir.
And who did I presented it to? My boss (literally ex-boss) by now. His reactions? He was surprised, and he brought it straight back home to show it to his wife.
Yes, he was being difficult to us. In fact, he was being utterly difficult against me. He has this kinda of aura that makes you stutter whenever you speak to him. But I had to prove myself that I can be of his high standards, and so I did. Two years under him, was a nightmare. One thing good is, whenever you woke up from a scary nightmare, you will ever remember the scariness it poses and will never even try to go there again.
Good luck boss. I'll pray you will do well. With this, I forgive.
