Savings

I'd once saw a colleague of mine keeping track of his daily expenses in a spreadsheet and when questioned why did he do so, he simply replied, "I'm gonna get married in 2 years' time. So I better watch my expenses and save for the wedding...". And so he did got married 2 years after that.

Now I know a friend of mine is gonna kill me when I say this. But honestly I've got no saving plans in place after 3 years plus of working. (Please don't come offering me whatever saving plans you have, seriously pleaseeee!). Savings for me has been like, if I have extra, then I will save. I've never shopped with a shopping list. I eat like a king and I opt to eat out on weekends.

While many is making comments (and a huge hu-ha) out of the rising cost of living, I saw this particular article on the paper today.

And my mum was telling us about the story of how she fed the family with vegetables she grown in the backyard (or rather the garden). Now all the "greens" you see in the below photo are edible yea...

So what should I do? Well for a start, I've increased my air-conditioning to 20 degrees Celsius and instead of shutting off at 3 AM, now its 2AM.  What's next? God knows...
