Yo-yo-like performance this year. Will be more determined in 2013.

The 2012 Recap… In A Way or Two

Let’s just start with that one reluctant trip to Malacca. Why reluctant? Because at the bottom of my heart, I know I just could not find the time to go there. Work will definitely come in my way. But I boldly told the Great Queen of Gossip, “Just book those damn flight tickets, I shall make my way out from work”. And so I did.

It was really after that trip that I really felt that I need a life. Hence, I started to “re-construct” my blog. With a little help from my staff, this photo was shot at Penang Port’s Butterworth Bulk Cargo Terminal. And I choose the tagline, “Life Goes On” to replace “The Rhapsody of Truth”, simply because, I hate my job, I love my job, I love my life, I hate my life…Life (still) goes on.

I took quite some time off during work, to do the things I love most, EVENT ORGANIZING. At least that part of “work” is interesting enough to make me stay with my current job.

Following from Malacca, I visited Hatyai and Acheh. At least it is worth renewing my passport.

Attended a very good friend’s wedding and just realized that damn, I looked fat-bulous! It was also during that dinner that I knew that my alcohol tolerance is quite high, not bad.

Won a few awards here and there… (at least I felt recognized and validated).

Then, I officially became an author. That, I just can’t believe it!

So New Year resolutions? Well, I will have to confess, I overhead this from the radio yesterday. All I want in 2013 is to be nice to others.

And I’m so gonna do just that! Happy New Year peeps!

Simple Logic

I do think, by now, I should know the reason why during school days, things were much more "organized".

My cousin used to rush to school every single morning. He would only pack his bag in the morning, polish his shoes in the morning, and only remembered his art class stuff in the morning. I, on the other hand, is the total opposite. I made sure everything I need for the next morning is packed readily in my bag before I head for bed.

How I wish, I can do that now. Still, it is not impossible.

I Am Thinking Of...

Woke up early this morning and remembered this photo taken long time ago...

Haha... I'm going to get it today!

We Bought (More Than) A Zoo

Have you watched this movie? Yea yea... I know, I should have watched it ages ago. But it was only yesterday that I had to chance to watch it at home (with my dad).

Weird thing was, there was this scene where the Dad and the son quarreled about dreams and how you should not force a dream onto someone else. I stood there in silence... deja vu.

Overall, it was more than just buying a zoo. It was a question of life, the choices that you make, the belief that you want to believe in and the chances that you give to your ownself.

I found that little girl in that movie was rather "enriching". Maggie Elizabeth Jones, her name that is.

Take a break, have a life of your own - buy a zoo!

Be Inspired

It is quite easy to be inspired, actually.

It is just a matter either do we have the time to really observe what is surrounding us. If you look carefully (instead of seeing meticulously), you may find the wonders of life just sitting right in front of you.

Had some time to browse through (quickly enough) the newspaper today and found these topic to be quite interesting and also, well, relate-able to myself.

Do I agree, do I not agree? I don't really know. But what is evident is that, I left my blog unattended for quite sometime before I've got the "will" to re-blog. However, I found that writing (despite my poor choices of words and proof-reading), somehow release me from all the non-sense of work. Till I find something else better to do, perhaps, I will just stay to blogging. Cheerios!

It Was A Decent Christmas

Yes, it was such a decent Christmas. Besides being stuck in the jam for 4 hours before reaching the Penang island, this was such a simple yet meaningful Christmas.

As we reached my aunt's home, I started doing what I do best!

Then my cousin sister and I headed to our grandparent's tomb. The fact that I was being reminded of "life" just a few days ago, I just can't help myself from feeling a bit sad.

And of all days, I slept around 8.30 p.m. on Christmas Eve! Too sleepy I supposed, but yes, I really needed that long hours of sleep.

Christmas presents this year were, well, very much anticipated as I did asked for what I need.

But what I really wanted for Christmas was still....

And did I mentioned, breakfast was scruptious!!!!

Being Reminded of Life

It was quite a rough day for me yesterday. Lets just start the day with the "hearsay" that its the end of the world 21-12-12. Though I strongly believe that it might not be true, but that gloomy day is such a pain in the arse!

Then a phone call came in around 9 a.m.. One of my staff met with an accident on the way to work. His wife was in such a panic and fear that I could not really understand how serious that accident was. By 4 p.m., we got to know that he only had 48 hours of life left.

When life meets numerical measures, what else can we do?

Lets be reminded of life, and be grateful that today I can still hear that damn annoying clock alarm this morning!

I Am Not A Photographer (II)

Life is simple, just smile.

I think I have read this fact in Jill Taylor's My Stroke of Insights somewhere somehow. She said that the reason why adults love to be with kids is because, they exudes a simple and direct aura of happiness. This will then travel to us and our receptors will capture them and make us to be happy as well. True rite?

That One Trip to Acheh

Tell me about against the odds, I made my way (finally) for a quick holiday to Acheh. And yes, that was like a month or so ago.

Anyway, here goes...

Owh ya, the Boss took all those photos. Cool Boss rite? Wait, think again! LOL.

It was indeed such a refreshing trip and one thing it has taught me was, gratefulness. Got it? Repeat after me, THANK YOU.
