My Maharani

When my "Maharani" gives me an order, literally I will drop every single thing I am doing and I will just obey what she says. Apparently yesterday, a son of a good friend of hers was getting married. The only problem was, it was at Shah Alam. I mean, SHAH ALAM?? That's like freaking 4 hours drive - ONE WAY! But let me just reiterate my first sentence which was "When my "Maharani" gives me an order, literally I will drop every single thing I am doing and I will just obey what she says"... and so we drove all the way to Shah Alam yesterday.

And that Aunty Norsiah with my mum.

And headed back to Penang right after the kenduri as I didn't bothered to stop by anywhere in KL cause I knew its Saturday and traffic must be darn crazy! So we were back to Penang quite early, and I thought, "Wait! Didn't the Maharani spent like over RM300 for that kebaya?? It must then worth to be photographed". Haha...

At least its still an photography outing - in a way or two.

The 1st Ever Photography Outing

As exciting as it may sounds, its pretty a love-hate thing. You see, you keep on snapping photos of others, but none of yours. Its great when you have crystal clear photos with excellent moments captured with your lenses. But then, who is taking your "moment" on the other hand?

To be smart, get another photographer along. Nyeh nyeh nyeh...

Photos taken by the maestro?

Not that bad after all, but gotta learn about white balance as I've notice most of my photos were quite gloomy - for some reason.

For this post, the very first time I am adding another label... PHOTOQ!

Cheers!

Melbourne Revisited 2013

It has been 6 years since I've last visited Melbourne, Australia in 2007. That remains still one of the best moments in my life!

Rumours start swirling around sometime around July when my GM's secretary started asking for a copy of my passport. I know it will lead to something good, but just wasn't sure that it was that 'good'. But this trip is purely work - no fun at all! It was my first overseas trip with my new camera. So, let thy eyes feast with the following photos!

Being the photographer is no fun at all, cause not much of my own photos are taken. Sigh... The highlight of my visit was that I managed to locate my favourite ice-cream stall - Il Dolce Fredo that serves Roche flavoured ice cream. Satisfying to da max!
