When heaven and nature sing…

23rd, 24th and 25th. Three days in a row I was experiencing full ensemble of Penang Island life. My oh my…

23rd of December:
I took a break from my office as my aunt and uncle was and still is in Japan. I woke up early and took my ‘lovely’ motorcycle to the Summit Plaza and then a bus to the Pacific. Waited a while at the entrance of the mall b4 Pak Abbas and Mak Teh came along on the cow cart. Hihihi… No la, on a car lo!

Our 1st destination, Kek Lok Si Temple. I wonder if Charlz still remember this. One fine day when I was still at UTP, like always, I was taking my afternoon nap around 2. Then, I was abruptly woken up by a mysterious dream. I dreamt that I was at the Kek Lok Si Temple for whatever reason. By that moment, I knew I had to visit that holy shrine one day soon, very soon indeed. We took an inclined lift up to the place where the tallest Kuan Yin statue was situated. I felt relief after seeking for forgiveness from the Goddess of Mercy upon my sinful acts and I prayed for a healthy and prosperous days forth.

Then, movie time at the Gurney Plaza, somewhere very near Jalan Kelawei where “The PALAZZO” is situated. The Curse of The Golden Flower was one fantastic movie to watch. From its costumes, set designs and also actor and actress. Bay thong that Jay man. He was … I have to say HOT! Then more shopping and a bigger hole in my pocket. It was time for home and I went back to BM for the night.

24th of December:

Christmas eve, the MOST waited day in my life. The day where I can meet my cousin and have lots of fun. However b4 that, I accompanied my mum for her shopping pulak at Pragin Mall. It all ended up with both of my legs aching and I slept quite early at that night while waiting for my cousin from the church.

25th of December:
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Happy Birthday to my dearest cousin, Marie! We had a lunch buffet at the Continental Hotel and headed home again to BM. For my Christmas present, uh…. More chocolates and more pimples on my face! Sigh…

New Year around the corner and I still have a few issue that have not being resolved. I guess I have to confront them now or never once 2006 is over. See 1st la how…

Oh ya.. My fellow colleagues want a minute of fame in my blog. So, here’s their photos. ROSLI and FC and Me, the hardworking workers of TAN & EWE, Advocates & Solicitors.

Ian Tau Ba..

Last Sunday was my annual dental checkup. And so I went reluctantly coz I do have some fear for dentist. After a 30 minutes of pain and undefined suffer on the sophisticated electric chair equipped with dental surgery stuffs, I walked out from the consultation room. Then, there was my mum waiting for me. Beside her was an unknown lady, she just met in the clinic. As soon as I appeared, she said

“Wah, ian tau lo…” Translates to MySo handsome lo.

My god, I was trying very hard not to blush but I could feel the heat all around my chubby cheeks and my newly shaved head. Hahahaha… That was the most genuine compliments I ever heard.

Langkawi was Langkawi...

So, when r we gonna receive our certificates uh btw? Hehehehe… This Langkawi trip was a GREAT success although some try to sabo! We had fun and I found a hole in my pocket. Altogether, I spent RM 450++ at there. Dunno la what happened. I just went there and spend like MAD.

Day 1

Exciting like always but frustrating at times. Like the incident of the stupid car. Celaka betul! That car made us wasted our time and money a lot man. But the rest of the day was fun. Underwater World, then beach time. Although someone lost the room key, but no worries.

Instead of the Mahsuri curse, I was infected with the Murni curse! I lost in a tremendous shame in a simple game of snake and ladder. Damn, Mak Teh was the winner.

Day 2

Woke up early in the morn for Island Hoping. With that Pangkor Island memories backing me, I was so scared that I was gonna puke this time like Charlz in Pangkor. Thank God, nothing happened. The Island Hoping was fun BUT I was trying very hard “to make people understand my stand”. [2 markah untuk isi tersirat]

Dunno who actually started it, but we just love to jump, from one destination to the other. Proud to say that Petronas even built a quay (pronounced as ‘key’) at Langkawi. After singing our Petronas anthem there, we went for dinner and headed to hotel.

Day 3

Last day there but there were still many places to go and many more money to spend. So, we went to the bird paradise for a birdie look. Then more shopping. Then the journey to BM.

No worries, I am expecting more fun on the next Penang visit on 21st of December. Sorry, not much pictures yet. Semua ada kat Charlz!

Paris and Love...

Have you been to PARIS? If u did, tell me about it. What’s the main agenda there? Is it always LOVE?

I can’t believe it when my small cousin brother phoned me when I was still at Tronoh and told me that he was packing and leaving for PARIS. I told him, get me some chocolates from there. (I am a GREAT fan of chocolate ok?) And so he did, with a few indescribable pictures. Have a look.

Cute, aren’t they?

The Curse Of The Golden Flower

Movie Time!!!

Although I am not a fanatic fan of any movie (except a few lucky ones :-o), but this time I would love to go for the abovesaid movie. According to Mak Teh's recommendation, it is a piece of movie that I should not miss. Or rather should not sleep during the movie is on. Kekekekeke.... However from my early inspection, (ceh wah...) I do think that it is gonna be a great one. With majestic locations, pleasant looking actors (Mak Teh, any comments?) and actress, as well as impressive costumes. Yup, Jay is in the movie acting as a prince. A very cool prince indeed!

So, finally LANGKAWI is on. Maybe after Langkawi, we can continue movie at PENANG lo.

Alumni

My uncle (sounds so ‘KKK’ish) is currently busy with his ‘alumni’ stuff. That leads me to search for my old photos and I managed to get some funny yet memorable pictures from my old dusty cupboard.

It just felt like yesterday I was in Standard 1. Seriously, I had no problem going to school. My friends from the same kinder were all there in the same class with me. So, no worries. Can u spot me in the picture? Very obvious rite?

SRK Stowell, named after the founder of the school, M.E Della Stowell. It used to be a very prestigious school complete with top students. Not now anymore though, M’s conquer ad.

Have I ever told y’ll that I was once a bear? No comments… Look for urself. But for now, I am officially a Hamster aka HamT@RO.

HIGH SCHOOL BUKIT MERTAJAM. Sigh… I do love and hate my high school days. Love it because I met my best friend, MUSIC through the brass band. Hate it because, arh... not much fun there. But I like the school’s song though. Ok what!

In the land there is the north,

There’s an old great school we hear,

Famous sons and daughters have sailed forth,

Bourne their honour far and near,

….

The minus one of the school’s song was played and recorded with my own electone and I guess is still being used until today. Wah, kembang man!

Maka, sampailah gue di university. My uni life is such a roller-coaster. Sometimes its up, but most of the time its down. Due to gravity acceleration kut… Here’s my foundation graduation’s pic.

One thing for sure is that I have to wait for another 3 years b4 I layak to enter UTP Alumni. Hehehe.. Way to go
